About Reeder Construction
After graduation from college I worked for Mobil Oil for 24 years. Over the years I supervised the building and operation of most Mobil stations in the west and south county area with 75 employees, 16 locations and over $75 million in annual sales.
After Mobil sold all their assets in the St. Louis market (and not wanting to move) I accepted a separation package from Mobil Oil. I then spent two years with Shure Manufacturing as a Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Manager. I left Shure and moved on to Heartland Industries as a Regional Sales Manager covering 7 states with 12 branches, 80 employees and over 100 sub-contractors. After flying over 100,000 miles in 1998 I decided to change my life style and in 1999 I elected to devote 100% of my work time to Reeder Construction.
Robert C. Reeder Construction was formed in 1978 when I built my home in West County. During the next 20 years I built many small, medium and large projects in my spare time always dreaming of full time devotion to the construction business.
In 2000, Robert C. Reeder Construction Company became REEDER CONSTRUCTION, L.L.C. My son Ryan, 30, started working for me full – time in June of 2000 and since then we have greatly expanded.
